NWX013: Maximilian Staub “Oblique Marine EP”

After remixing Toreador, Maximilian Staub returns to Nuwax with a banging EP. The opening track “Rooms & Doors” takes you on a trip through a long hallway filled with percussion driven minimalistic journey. Sergio Marini’s remix of Rooms & Doors takes it even deeper with a slower but heavier version. The title track “Oblique Marine” is already receiving huge support from DJs all over the world, and the reason is – it’s a bomb! The last track on this EP is a crowd pleaser “Chaos Modus”. Vocal samples are sprinkled over a rocking tech-house groove to make any club go wild.

Synter is a project of Vasily M. based in San Francisco, CA. The theme of the endeavor is a fusion of influences from such styles as techno, psytrance, electro, breaks and their progressive sub-genres. Deep basslines, dreamy soundscapes, bouncy grooves, homage to old-school, edgy warehouse vibes are some of the key ingredients that help create Synter his style.
The project has emerged after the style constraints of Vasily’s better known psytrance project Konflux started to feel too tight, and room for experimentation was needed. You may catch Vasily play techno and house around California and the rest of the US.

NWX012: Jacob Phono “Paradise Of You”

Coming out of Denmark, Jacob Phono is a solid fixture in the underground house scene. With releases on Highgrade Records and Bump, Jacob now joins the army of Nuwax Records with his single “Paradise Of You”. Beautiful vocals along with texture synths and percussion-filled rhythms create an unique atmosphere.

This time Nuwax podcast presented with short compilation from LA by DIVE.
Growing up in the heart of Vitebsk, on the hill on top of the state of the art amphitheater, DJ Dive was inspired by the local walk of fame which he passed on his way to school every day. On the other hand, seeing all the post-soviet pop culture has turned him to underground music. Helping organize massive events on city squares and old town coffee shops influenced his understanding of rave culture since early teenage years.
