After featuring Maximilian Staub – “Oblique Marine EP” release at Radio Gold House Music Phileas Funk kindly presents his new compilation of quality house beats to Nuwax.
Phileas Funk is a Portuguese-born French Dj, born in 1982, Lyon. Naturally a music lover since childhood, he discovers House Music at the beginning of the 90′s through some rare programs on the French FM radio, he was a little schoolboy different than others. With a modest record collection, he starts to play music in 1997. He spent 15 years producing various radio shows in his city, responding to invitations from Dj’s of clubs, private parties and events, and also to organize parties with limited success because of the hard-to-succeed city of Lyon… Anyway he was distinguished by his peers as a true musical pioneer and explorer, as evidenced by his collection of white labels, Cdr’s and files which he carries daily. Actually he is resident on Gold House Music Radio, based in Palma de Mallorca – Spain, and his program “The After Show” quickly became one of the most hearded show of the station. His flair sharpens and his tracklists are increasingly marginalized, he still one of rarest European to keep an ear all around the world on a variety of young aspiring artists. Phileas Funk also spent on the last years to perfect himself as a producer, he counts on 2012 to finally unveil his highly anticipated first projects.

Konstantin’s career kicked off in 2001. The clubs in his native city of Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine became like a school for the future producer, who was able to present his original music to its audiences. Konstantin’s ability to really feel the music, his efficiency in his work, the skills he learned in music school, and his experience as a DJ all played a role in him becoming one of the most promising producers in Ukraine.

His music differs from the rest in that it has as emotional richness and depth. In today’s age of disposable music, Konstantin’s work ages like a fine wine. Having many talents, Konstantin is able to combine his work in the studio, his DJing and management very well. He enthusiastically runs his two labels, Tech-It Recordings and Bashi Records to promote his own and other relevant artists’ music.

In 2006, Martin packed his bags for San Francisco and took his first steps on a more dedicated musical career path, swiftly scoring residencies and guest slots at local clubs and afterhour events. Since his arrival, Martin has become ½ of the performing/producer duo “The Corporate Scandals” (A duo formed with Carlos Tino in late 2008, The Corporate Scandals have respectfully established themselves in San Francisco through successful events and breathtaking performances).

Martin’s intriguing sets has successfully branched him out in the city of San Francisco with regular performances at clubs such as Vessel, Supperclub, Ruby Skye, 1015 Folsom, and the legendary End Up. His dedication and mixing skills have enabled him to play alongside Sharam, Mendo, Hipp-E & Halo (H-Foundation), Julien Chaptal, Onionz, Doc Martin, Kruse & Nuernberg, Miss Honey Dijon, Derrick Carter, Pezzner, Tedd Patterson, Christian & Justin Martin (The Martin Brothers), Johnny Fiasco, Peter Christianson of the Lawnchair Generals, and Massimo DaCosta to name a few.

Looking forward into 2011, Martin is focusing on solo projects for prominent labels to be released in the next few months.

Phil started DJing in 1992.
In 1994 he got together with 5 other techno DJs and formed the “NRV BIG BANG DJ’S” (Aktarus, Drym’z, Hipnoise, Naomix, Rabbiax et Randy). At the time his DJ alias was: Drym’z.
From 1995 to 1998 NRV organized numerous parties around Paris with 400 to 2500 participants. Phil was also the organizer and DJ of the “London vs Paname” party series in various Parisian clubs and bars, during 3 years and as the artistic director at the Triangle bar and 27bis bar, for one year.
