NW029 by Riparian

Riparian - NW029 podcastExploring another new era in bass driven dance music, “Riparian” is an inevitable upgrade from his original alias Tommy Lexxus. Riparian is Co-Producer of Akrotrio, as well as Label Director for Bassism Records and Forecast Recordings. Based in San Francisco, with roots dug in San Diego, Ithaca, Boston, Berlin and Budapest… Riparian is also a resident DJ in Bern, Switzerland. Backed by Hotflush, Sublife, EightFx, and Blipswitch, he’s toured the lot of USA and Europe with artists such as Scuba, Headhunter, Tes La Rok, and Skream, and has performed as far away as Shanghai and Melbourne. At a mere eighteen, Tommy helped usher in the burgeoning drum & bass scene in San Diego. Then after getting his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Production from San Jose State University, Mr. Lexxus earned his way into the Bay Area dnb family, and later in 2005 was one of a handful to pioneer in the massive SF dubstep scene, along with the birth of Bassism. Signing such internationally known artists such as Antiserum, Roommate, Dubsworth, and Beep helped to solidify Tommy’s high standard for cutting edge bass.
