This gown is just so wrong it’s right, like disposing a bag of peanut butter M&Ms into a bag of pretzels (try it, you’ll see), or like Paula Abdul’s “Straight Up,” or like Robert Downey Jr. (That last link mainly risk-free for work.) like all of the above, I want it badly, however in the interests of NOT filling up my wardrobes with gowns that I won’t wear however will instead just haul out from time to time, try on, as well as leave in a heap on the bed (to the installing irritation of Mr. gown A Day), I’m publishing it here, instead.
This is from Birdsong Vintage, a seller on the new primary street vintage collaborative noting site. (And I have to state … from what I saw, their costs are truly really good. much more of those people with time machines! Why doesn’t somebody hook me up? I won’t step on any type of butterflies!) I’m showing you the back since otherwise you can’t truly see the print; don’t worry, if you click on the picture you can likewise see the front.
Anyway — the lurid pink as well as eco-friendly as well as the busy, hectic print featuring geishas as well as what look like triffids (not that you might tell without invading the wearer’s personal space) contact us to me … however the tight midsection (it’s B38, however W26) states “no, no!” (or perhaps “cut down on the wonderful potato fries!”) Either way, it’s not for me, however at $45, it may just be for you.
