Amidst the constant flurry of meetings and deadlines, it’s easy to to get lost in the workaholic shuffle. While maintaining a healthy work/life balance is a lot of absolutely NOT my strong suit, (I’m told) it’s exceptionally crucial for staying on top of your game (as well as staying connected to the crucial people in your life… Hi, Mom!). While part of our trip to France was for work, rich and I did manage to unplug and unwind a bit, spending one of our a lot of memorable days in the breathtaking lavender fields of Provence. After driving through the Luberon with fields of purple as far as the eye can see, we stopped at a tiny local market for provisions (and wine!) and made our way up the mountain to the tiny town of Sault where we found the best park overlooking an extraordinary sunset view. It was certainly an experience we’ll long remember.
